We won’t learn about view templates until the Intermediate course levels and above but we will learn the foundation of View Templates which is V/G or Visibility Graphics.
One of the most difficult families/categories in Revit to get right Is Air Distribution devices or Air Terminals as Revit calls it. These are the only families where it is industry standard for a tag to show the families internal constraints. This requires careful planning.
Learn how to effectively search for preloaded families and how to place an instance of an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. Place a thermostat and draw wire to indoor unit being controlled.
We will go through the Menu and how to modify it. How to add or remove anything from Quick Access Toolbar aka the QAT. We will learn about everything that can be accessed though the File button and how to customize options.
Model DX Supply and Return refrigerant lines without headaches. Learn how to apply insulation and edit insulation.
We will properly annotate the HVAC plan. We will learn how to tag all air terminals. mechanical equipment duct, flex duct and rooms/spaces.
Make a new sheet with the default title block preloaded into the project. Place the view on sheet and learn how to manipulate the view title vs. the view.
Finally, we will go through Revit’s print dialog. We will learn how to print to pdf, copier or a plotter. We will explore all the important settings and how to save them.
